Club Mahindra has turned the Acacia Palms resort in Goa into an all-women-run property.

The first of its kind in the hospitality giant’s portfolio, the Acacia Palms resort’s new workplace composition has been cited by Club Mahindra as a ” meaningful push toward gender equality and true inclusion at the workplace.”

True to the principle of “all-women-run” idea, all departments, including, front desk, security, engineering, and food production, are being led by women at the Goa resort. Through this initiative, Club Mahindra is determined to help women “build skills, grow confidence, and pursue careers.” The company has also expanded its women empowerment approach beyond its workforce by partnering with local women entrepreneurs and artisans, bringing their crafts and services into the resort experience.

“We are thrilled to announce that our Acacia Palms Resort is now an all-women-staff property,” Manoj Bhat, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India, commented. “It’s a true reflection of our commitment to gender diversity and empowerment.”

“True inclusion goes beyond intent,” added Tanvi Choksi, Chief Human Resources Officer at Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India. “We’re building an ecosystem where women can thrive—even in roles where they’ve been underrepresented for years.”

Through the Acacia Palms resort, Club Mahindra has taken a bold step towards women’s empowerment in the workplace. Breaking the barriers of traditions, the company has showcased that women can work and thrive even in areas that are usually male-dominated.
