Tata Steel has promoted Chandan Mishra to Head of Human Resources, Sahibabad.

Mishra has been a part of Tata Steel for well over 9 years. He joined the company in September 2015 as Manager HRM – CRC West. In July 2018, Mishra was appointed as Senior Manager of Human Resources Management (HRM) – Raw Material Handling System (RMHS) and Logistics at Tata Steel Kalinganagar (TSK).
From July 2020, Mishra served as Senior Manager HRM – Supply Chain TSK until his elevation to Senior Manager HRBP Improvement and New Initiatives TSK in September 2021. In March 2022, he became the Head HRBP of Ore, Mines and Quarries (OMQ). Mishra was appointed as Head HRBP New Businesses in July 2024, a role he retained until his latest appointment.
Before Tata Steel, Mishra was a part of Samsung Electronics as HR – PST from June 2014 to August 2015. He was also associated with Asian Paints from July 2011 to October 2013 as an HRO.
Mishra has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from LN Mishra College of Business Management, Muzaffarpur. He also obtained a postgraduate diploma in labour law from the Indian Law Institute.
