BirlaNu (formerly HIL Limited) has appointed Srinivas N as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

With well over 25 years of experience, Srinivas is a seasoned leadership coach, mentor, facilitator, and people process professional. Having been a part of a diverse set of industries, he has worked alongside different types of workforces and can provide a variety of perspectives when it comes to making strategic business decisions.
Before joining BirlaNu, Srinivas was the Executive Vice President – Human Resources for Orient Cement. He was appointed to the position in February 2014. From November 2010 to February 2014, Srinvas worked as Vice President – Human Resources for KEC International, an RPG Group Company.
Srinivas has also worked with Crompton Greaves, having held the role of Assistant General Manager – Corporate HR from October 2002 to November 201. Some other companies he has been associated with in the past include Ion Exchange India and Sriman Organic Chemicals.
With a Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB) from the University of Mumbai, Srinivas has a sound understanding of the legal framework. He is also passionate about mentoring and coaching others, stating that he has helped “many students, youngsters and experienced members in their professional/personal journey.”
