Allana Group appoints Abhimanyu Sen as Chief Human Resources Officer

Food and beverage exporter Allana Group has appointed Abhimanyu Sen as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

The company stated in its announcement, “We welcome Abhimanyu to Allana Group and wish him the very best for a long and fruitful career with Allana. ”

Sen has been active in the HR industry for over 22 years and has worked across various industry verticals. He has a specialization in business partnering, talent acquisition, change management, HR integration, consulting, performance and talent management, learning and development, and rewards. Through his communication skills, he has navigated conversations with various members of leadership to facilitate smooth operations.

Before joining Allana, Sen worked as the Head of Human Resources for Mahindra Group, having joined the company in March 2017. He was also the Head of Human Resources and Infrastructure and Services for Mahindra Home Finance from March 2024 to February 2025.

In March 2017, Sen also became the Head of Human Resources for Common Functions, International Operations, Spares Business, and Powerol for Mahindra and Mahindra Limited, a position he retained until March 2020. He also became the CHRO of Mahindra Ford Automotive in October 2019 and retained the position until January 2021. Following that, he was appointed as the Head of Human Resources for EV Tech Center, LMM, Electric Mobility Plant, and Auto Product Development until March 2024.

Apart from his impressive time with Mahindra in various capacities, Sen has also worked for General Electronics, Kotak Life Insurance, EY, and ICICI Bank. Sen holds a master’s in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations, having studied at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences from 2000 to 2002.
