Adani Energy Solutions has appointed Dr. Arivarasu Selvaraj as its new Chief Digital Officer (CDO). The appointment has been in effect since late February 2025.
In his new position, Selvaraj aims to lead the digital transformation of various ventures under the umbrella of Adani Energy Solutions. These include power transmission, power distribution, smart metering, cooling solutions, energy trading, battery energy storage systems, and electric vehicle charging stations.
Not one to shy away from announcing his ambitions, Selvaraj has expressed his intention to help Adani Energy Solutions become a leading player in energy trading, battery energy storage systems, and electric vehicle charging stations.
Selvaraj also aims to order bookings of 23 million meters as a part of the smart metering initiative and targets to capture 40% of the cooling solutions market in India.
Adani Energy Solutions is India’s largest private power transmission company, active in 16 states. It is also India’s largest private power distributor.
Prior to his new position, Selvaraj served as the Group Chief Information Officer for Adani Total Gas from November 2021 to February 2025. He has also worked with Columbus A/S, Recconix, Wipro Limited, and Microland Limited. With nearly two decades of experience, the new CDO has high goals and is zealous about achieving them.
