Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (VOIS) has appointed Sumit Sabharwal as its new Head of HR Services.
With his leadership development and talent management skills, Sabharwal is recognized as one of the most prominent faces in the HR industry. He has been active in the industry for over 21 years and has honed his skills to benefit his company’s employees. An advocate of changing trends in HR technology, he has always been outspoken about using the latest trends for maximum efficiency.
In his new role, Sabharwal will oversee the HR strategy of VOIS while ensuring excellence in the company’s day-to-day operations. “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of HR Services at VOIS!” Sabharwal said in a statement on LinkedIn about his new appointment.
“I am responsible to oversee our centers of expertise offering learning and development, business partnering, and resourcing services to our local markets,” Sabharwal added while talking about his work with VOIS. ” [My] Key responsibility is to deliver a robust world-class HR services environment, and to advance the HR strategy for Vodafone Group and work closely with the Group HR Director of Vodafone Group Functions and other key members of the global HR leadership team.”
Prior to joining VOIS, Sabharwal was a part of Fujitsu, a company he joined in September 2013 as the Group Head of Human Capital Development. He became the Global head of Global Learning and Development and continued to rise in the ranks until he became the Vice President and Head of HR Shared Services for Fujitsu International Regions in April 2023. Sabharwal has also worked with Huawei, Dell, and Concentrix.
