Tata Communications has appointed Vaishnavi Shukla as Vice President – Human Resources.

With over 17 years of experience, Shukla is focused on building an inclusive, agile, and future-ready organisation by integrating data, technology and a strong human-centred approach. She is known for publicly speaking about HR-related topics, including the implementation of AI in HR.
Before joining Tata Communications, Shukla was the Head of HR for Comviva from December 2016 to April 2025. Shukla first joined Comviva in August 2011 when she was appointed to the role of HR Business Partner and Talent Management, a position she held until February 2016. Shukla has also served as the Head of Talent Management for HFCL from February 2016 to December 2016.
From July 2007 to August 2011, Shukla worked with Hero MotoCorp. She was a Deputy Manager from July 2007 to April 2009 and an Assistant Manager from 2007 to August 2011. Shukla has completed the Executive Education CHRO Programme from the Indian School of Business and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the International School of Business & Media.
