IT services giant Infosys has rolled out an average bonus of 65% to its employees for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025, as per Moneycontrol. The bonus will be handed out in May 2025 along with the monthly salary payments.
The bonus, according to the news platform, is applicable to junior to mid-level workers who are part of Band 6 and below. The bonuses vary as per individual performance, with those under the “Needs Improvement” category receiving 0%, while the “Outstanding” performers will receive a bonus payout as large as 83%.
“Amidst the complex macro-economic environment in Q4, we remained client-focused and responsive to market needs,” Infosys stated in an email, according to Moneycontrol. The Economic Times has claimed that most eligible employees have received 50% bonuses, with high performers receiving 70% and even more. The payouts have seemingly shocked many of the company’s long-term employees, who claimed to the news platform that this is the lowest bonus they have ever received as an Infosys employee.
The payouts come after reports from earlier this week that revealed that the Infosys HR team and senior management were cautioning employees to expect lower salaries for the quarter. They reportedly claimed that the company will likely revisit rewards and bonuses once the company’s growth is back on track.
