Hitachi Cash Management Services announces Yusuf Pachmariwala as new Managing Director and CEO

Hitachi Cash Management Services, a subsidiary of Hitachi Payment Services, has announced the appointment of Yusuf Pachmariwala as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The appointment will be effective from April 1, 2025.

“With a clear focus on continuous improvement, my efforts would be directed to maximize stakeholder value. At Hitachi Cash Management Services, we will continue to develop and deliver holistic and customer-centric solutions that not only meet the evolving needs of our customers but also position the company for long-term success and sustainable growth,” Pachmariwala said in his statement about the appointment.

Pachmariwala has been with Hitachi Payment Services since March 2022, joining the company as its Director of Operations for Cash Business. He has contributed immensely to scaling the company’s business operations through his position. With his new appointment, Pachmariwala will be replacing Anup Neogi, who has decided to retire from his current position as the Managing Director and CEO of Hitachi Cash Management Services.

In his new position, Pachmariwala will use his over three decades of experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining Hitachi Payment Services, he was a part of Tata AIA Life Insurance, having joined the company in July 2001 as the Head of Zone Operations and Business Conservation. He rose through the ranks, serving as Vice President of operations and Senior Vice President and Head of Operations during his time with Tata. Pachmariwala left the organization in March 2022 as an Executive Vice President. He has also worked with HDFC Bank, HCL Perot Systems, and the Stock Holding Corporation of India.

The senior members of Hitachi Payment Services have welcomed the appointment of the new Managing Director and CEO of Hitachi Cash Management Services. “His [Pachmariwala’s] expertise and forward-thinking approach will play a crucial role in further strengthening the company’s market position,” said Sumil Vikamsey, the Managing Director and CEO of Cash Business for Hitachi Payment Services.
