GPS Renewables has appointed Major Satender K Sighadia as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
In his new role, Major Sighadia will be responsible for the company’s HR operations across corporate and site operations. As a working professional for over 22 years, he has a diverse range of experiences that have allowed him to provide a unique insight into any company’s HR and business strategies.

Satender brings over 22 years of diverse experience, including more than a decade in senior HR leadership roles across IT/ITES, Services, Manufacturing, and Agro Speciality Chemicals. He has successfully led HR functions across M&A, change management, people strategy, and business process integration,” GPS Renewables stated in an announcement over LinkedIn.
Major Sighadia has also expressed his gratitude for the new opportunity. “Happy to share that I have joined GPS Renewables as CHRO. Looking forward to exciting times ahead. Thank you, FMC Corporation, for all the opportunities over the last 11+ years,” he stated while thanking his previous employer.
FMC Corporation brought Major Sighadia on board in November 2013 as an HR Manager. He was promoted to Senior Human Resources Manager in April 2015 and Senior Human Resources Business Partner in April 2017. In January 2022, he was appointed as the company’s India HR Head. Before FMC Corporation, Major Sighadia was a part of Infosys for over 5 years, having joined the company in April 2008.
An Indian Army veteran, Major Sighadia was a part of India’s armed forces for over six years. He joined the army in September 2011 and was part of operations like the United Nations Peacekeeping Force Management, Human Resource development, Promotional Cadre implementation, and much more. He left the forces in September 2007 as a Major.
