Anirudh Gupta has been appointed the Global Head of Talent and Learning of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals.

An expert in learning and development initiatives, Gupta has been active in the industry for over 26 years. Though he took up the executive position at Glenmark in March 2025, this is not the first time that he has been associated with the company. From December 2005 to July 2011, he was responsible for the company’s learning and development as well as organization development function.
Gupta was also the head of the Glenmark Center for Learning. Having joined the company as a senior manager, he was promoted to Deputy General Manager in April 2007, followed by his assignment as the General Manager of Human Resources Development in October 2009.
Prior to his new assignment, Gupta worked for Pfizer. He joined the company in April 2018 as a Learning and Development Consultant for Pfizer India and became the Lead of Pfizer Learning Academy India in February 2023. Over the years, Gupta has held multiple leadership positions. He was the Director for Skilldom Learning Solutions from May 2016 to October 2019 and served as the CEO of AAVID Consulting Processes from July 2011 to May 2016.
Gupta has also worked for companies like Development Dimensions International, Metlife India, NIS Sparta, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, and Wockhardt. Through his experience, he has developed an expertise in the pharmaceutical industry and is well known for his learning and development initiatives.
Now in charge of Glenmark’s global functions, Gupta will utilize his skills to elevate the knowledge bank of the company in a manner that matches the working of the company.
