Arvind Fashions has appointed Lisa Basumatari as the Head of Talent and Organisational Development (OD).

In her new position, Basumatari will create and implement talent strategies that align with the company’s business offsites, leadership interventions, and change management programs. As the force behind brands like Flying Machine, Arrow, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and U.S. Polo Assn, Arvind Fashions is a leading name in the fashion industry and hopes to make good use of Basumatari’s skills.
Prior to joining Arvind Fashions in April 2025, Basumatari was the General Manager of People Resources for McDonald’s from July 2024. Before that, she worked as the Deputy General Manager of People Resources with the company from December 2022 to August 2024. Basumatari has also contributed to he HR operations of companies like SMEcorner, Reliance Retail, RBL Bank, and Viacom 18 Media.
Until December of 2011, Basumatari worked in the content development sphere. She has helped with the content initiatives of companies like Lee Hecht Harrison, Synergy Relationship Management Services, and The Learning Canvas.
