Jindal Stainless has announced that its Executive director and Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Anurag Mantri, has resigned. The resignation will be effective after April 4, 2025.
Mantri was appointed as the Executive director and Group CFO of Jindal Stainless in November 2016 and has held the position for over eight years. In his resgination he cited his desire to pursue new professional opportunities as his reason to step down from his positions.
Before Jindal Stainless, Mantri served as the CFO of Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited (SEIL) from June 2013 to November 2016. He was also the Executive Director and Group CFO for ACME Group from April 2012 to June 2013. Mantri also worked with Cairn Energy as the Group Treasurer, head of Investor Relations, and Group Financial Controller from October 2006 to April 2012.
With over 30 years of experience under his belt, Mantri has worked alongside many big names, including SRF, HCL Technologies, Larsen & Toubro, and Haribhakti & Company. During his time with Jindal Stainless, he helped the company leave behind its financial distress and move towards global leadership in the steel industry. He helped increase the company’s market cap by a factor of 25 and has championed digital innovation.
