Ajay Bhatt, the President of Global Human Resources (HR) for Intas Pharmaceuticals, has announced his retirement.
An intrinsic part of the healthcare HR industry for 38 years, Bhatt has been with Intas since August 2018, overseeing the company’s HR initiatives in India, Europe, the USA, and other emerging markets. Prior to that, he worked with Abbott from December 2005 to June 2018, first as Regional Human Resources Director and then as Director of Human Resources for Innovation and Development. Since September 1989, Bhatt has also worked with Sun Pharma, Zydus Group, and Torrent Pharmaceuticals.
While announcing his departure, Bhatt could not help but fondly recall his time at Intas. “Each assignment has been a chance to impact my client groups and the employees I’ve served, culminating in the creation of a unified global organization and earning the Great Places to Work certification in the last seven years at Intas,” he shared.
“As I close this assignment, I am enthusiastic about beginning a new phase, focusing on achieving personal goals that were put on hold and later exploring opportunities that align with my expertise, passion, and drive to create a meaningful difference,” Bhatt said in his statement. “Excited to embark on this new adventure, I look forward to maintaining connections as I step into this next chapter of my life.”
