Air India SATS Airport Services, or AISATS, has announced the appointment of Namit Baikar as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective April 1, 2025.
With nearly two decades of experience in the Business HR industry, Baikar is an expert in strategic HR leadership, business scaling, change management, business partnering, talent management, policies and compliance, organization establishment, and more. Presently, he serves as the Head of Human Capital for India with AISATS, a position he started in September 2019. In this position, he was in charge of HR operations for the company’s subsidiaries and joint ventures.
Before AISATS, Baikar worked for IKEA Group as the Market HR Manager for the India Pacific region. He was with the Swedish furniture giant from July 2016 to September 2019. Baikar has also worked with A.P. Moller – Maersk, Concentrix Limited Company, and Larsen & Toubro.
Over the years, Baikar has been involved in HR operations for various industries, including food production, e-commerce and retail, logistics and supply chain, and aviation across South Asia, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East. In February 2020, the World HRD Congress and CHRO Asia listed him as one of the top HR minds in India.
