Cyient has appointed Kavita Kurup as its Chief People Officer.
Kurup will be based in Cyient’s office in Hyderabad and will be overseeing the company’s HR operations at a global level with a focus on people, talent, and culture agenda. In her new role, she will be aligning talent strategy, leadership development, and organisational effectiveness with the company’s growth ambitions and future-ready vision.

With well over 25 years of experience, Kurup is an expert in people practices, business transformation, and organisational strategy. Prior to Cyient, she was a part of UST, having joined the company in February 2019 as Global Head – Talent and Organisational Transformation, before becoming Global Head of Human Resources and Corporate Communication in April 2020. In the past, Kurup has also worked for Axis Bank, ING Vyasa Bank, JP Morgan Chase, Scope International, Citibank, and ICICI Bank.
