  • Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging and biopsies.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists to provide integrated care.
  • Educate patients and their families about cancer, treatment options, and lifestyle changes that may enhance recovery.
  • Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives to advance cancer treatment methodologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in oncology through continuous education and training.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from a recognized institution.
  • Completion of a residency in Internal Medicine followed by a fellowship in Medical Oncology.
  • Valid medical license to practice in India (State Medical Council Registration).
  • Certification from the National Board of Examinations or equivalent in Medical Oncology is preferred.
  • Expertise in cancer diagnosis and treatment modalities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency in interpreting diagnostic imaging and pathology reports
